No.

I have always loved these trucks and would sell everything I own to buy one. You might run into me fishing off the back of it on the shore of Lake Huron or Lake Michigan if I bought one. I would hand you a beer and enjoy the company as well.

Yep, you can get them from 100dollarman for not too much. Could do it yourself for about $5000-$6000, especially with a non-winch truck like that..

Well...

Since these fine fellows posted a source for one of these trucks I don't see why we couldn't throw a whole damn bass boat in the bed and hit whatever lake we want.

Thanks booblinker... E-mail sent to him. You may have singlehandedly killed my 06 LJ build thread under Jeep Tech.

I've got an offer on the 50 from a dealer and I also have two more high end rifles I'm about to put up for sale...

It looks like everyone is about to have a designated recovery vehicle at wheeling events here in the near future... All depending on the email response.

Most of them have multi-fuel engines. That ranges from used vegetable oil to filtered (run it through an old t-shirt) used motor oil from a local auto parts store to 5 O'clock vodka.

Im curious how insurance works on a military vehicle like that.....does it qualify if its older like antique car insurance?

Looks like you can get a bobbed duece for $7k range.

Where did you find it? Please PM me if you don't want to share with the masses.

I would actually use the bobbed deuce and a half as a daily driver (as ludicrous as that sounds).

I know a guy that comes into my work bought a mid 90's with a cat (3116?) motor, auto, and power steering for like $5,000, he even had it in a parade with a duperduty in the bed.
