I dont see the supercharger on there yet. What gives, you have 1 week to get the axles and supercharger in it what gives. Looks like I will win the bet

Default Project "YJ-8 Wrambler"

Tonight I finished up my disk brake brackets in the back

We ground down the pads and calipers as much as we could to move it all farther in to help with the 15"wheel clearance

So the rear end is done except for brake lines and a vent

This weekend I went and got some Chevy spring plates for the u-bolt flip in the front, I cleaned them up and the one on the passenger side will work perfect but the drivers side is either getting heavily modified or something different but for $8 you can't go wrong

Tonight was a good night we got the old axles out and the new axles in
Rear perches still have to be welded after pinion angle is set

Front axle is in with the u-bolt flip and springs out boarded
Drivers side is going to require some fab

Shock mounts for both axles and a front drive shaft and It should be ready

That is how we did it originally
Spring over is cheaper and flexier but not as stable as spring under so we did spring under in the front to keep the stability
There is no swaybar or track bars and it is still very stable on the road while staying flexy offroad

So rear axle pinion angle set and perches welded
Shock mounts welded on and shocks on including a new one to replace one that was junk and old drive shaft still works good and is bolted in

Front axle is bolted in, drivers side spring plate took some creative fab work but it turned out good
Shock mounts made and welded on and shocks bolted up
Old brake lines drilled out for slightly larger banjo bolts and bolted on

I got the 33s on it and it looks prety good
It gonna look even better with 35s

I still need to figure out brake lines in the back, make a drag link and figure out/ream a pitman arm
And my master cylinder should be here today

I finished up the rear brake lines, I ended up using 79 el camino brake lines in the rear and it turned out nice
Master cylinder install went prety good
We eliminated the splinter block and redid some brake lines
I had alot of trouble getting it to run because my new coil turned out to be bad
Today I got it finished up and put about 50 miles on it today

Went over and got my tires mounted up today too at pitbull2332s and I think they are gonna look sweet he also had a front cv shaft that should work for me

So it was the new coil that was disfunctional?
Glad you got that figured out.
Now if some clown would get his CJ off the lift you could mount those bad boys up!
Heading over later tonight to make that happen......

Front cv shaft was too short so we shortened the old one
Turned down a sleeve and pressed it in both sides
It turned out great
I did a few back yard poser shots with the 33s

Then put the 35s on and it looks bad ass

So it only needs a good drag link made but the temporary one will last through the shake down run this weekend, I can't wait
