Unless its totally f'ed, just have it polished out, if it's new it could probably use a coat of wax anyway.

I don't go through very many car washes because I don't want my cars damaged, but I'll have to see what they say the next time I get a chance.

How can a touchless carwash damage a car if it never touches it? Its just high pressure water........

it touched it and stopped being touchless ......I don't know what failed on the carwash itself but the arm came in and hit the side of my truck from the cab all the way to the tailgate. I'm assuming a bolt or something fell out of the arm up above.

UPDATE: The owner is taking zero responsibility, he claims his insurance will not cover him for this type of thing. He also claims he has a waiver that covers him for any damages to the car. Im going to give him one more chance tomorrow to make this right before I take it to the next stop. I cant believe that business owners conduct themselves like this. Its not how I was raised, and not any of my family members with business run there operations.

Update: The owner came through and took care of the situation. The car had to have a lot of wetsanding done to the paint, and a full detail. We got the jeep back to day and it looks back to new. Its good to know that this guy came through.

the owner screwed around for a while telling you he would not fix it.
thats sad!

i used to manage a car wash when i was young. if anyone had any issue at all, i gave them the insurance guys name and number.
he took care of it that day usually. then i would wash their car for free for a while, if they came back.

My wife worked for that company out of high school. A few years after she quit there I had my truck damaged on Hill rd location. The manager gave me the run around so I contacted the owner and he made it right. The wife said the damage comes out of the managers bonus at the time.
