Reading labels and making smart choices is the way to go. That's really the only way to be sure what you're eating.

I haven't done a show in a couple years now due to surgery, but I am getting back to it. I will be honest though, there are plenty of days I consider doing it like you are. At the end of the day that is a healthier and easier lifestyle.

I dunno if it's easier, I puke a lot more after workouts now than I ever did when I just went to the gym and tried to look good

I know what you are saying though, the kitchen side of it is way easier.

Good point. Yes the training for what you do sucks big time. I'll take moving heavy weight all day over that.

In the name of science I check with my mother who is a retired gym teacher. She said the only way to make bacon healthy is to avoid it…so I guess I was right after all

Even though your point is valid, your professional source is about as lame as you can get. I'd trust a butcher's opinion over 98% of gym teachers. I know the only nutrition most gym teachers know is the food pyramid. Congratulations on passing 3rd grade health.

I understand that. Just because you go to college doesn't mean you are a nutritionist. If I wanted advice about dodgeball or climbing a rope I'd ask a gym teacher. For nutrition I'd prefer someone who went to school for that. At least kickstand pretended to talk to a nutritionist. Next time you're throwing out bs at least do us the courtesy of making up credible sources. Thank you.

The only thing that's true you;ve typed so far is that you need to go to college to be a gym teacher.

I wasnt talking about just this topic, more of EVERY single topic on this forum you put your $.02 in. You are normally very pushy and you do not like to even consider other opinions, because you know everything.

Quite entertaining tho!
