Sorry. I didn't have a lot of time when I posted. Mine is a Max 20. I'm not sure how old it is. It's just a baby. I have done .250 with it but that is definitely the max I would try. You have to go slow and it leaves a lot of slag. The slag is easy to break off and the cut is still pretty clean though. I use it a lot for sheet metal for the most part but .125 cuts like butter. Like any of them, if you keep up on your consumables it will do a very nice job. I did recently learn that it does not like the voltage drop you get when you run it through a 100' extension cord but other than that it is a very nice little machine.
