But it is my new shop. 18 x 36 Army tent. In this pic its not fully lashed down and the lines still need to be tightened. Other then that, I love it.

believe it or not, craigslist. Originally the price was 500 for a small 18 x 18. I got it home and laid it out. Needless to say after 2 hours of trying to understand army english, I realized I was sold an End and Middle sections, instead of 2 End sections. Called them back and they sold me an end and all the poles for another 200 bucks. Not to bad as I got a medium for 700 when they normally sell them for 1250.

GP Medium is the tent equivalent of Satan.

Fuck those tents.

After having put up more than a few of those tents when I was in the Marines, I have to agree with SS's assessment.

It took wifey, the 12 year old and myself all of about 4 hours to get it up. It was going well but god said "I don't think so" and with one good gust of wind it came down like dominos. HA HA!!

It will not be coming down any time soon.

My old scout troop had one of those we would take on camporees and scout camp. It was a blast having everyone in one tent. It took us around a half hour to set up. It was the older style tent though.

These replaced the Satan GP Mediums: http://www.drash.com/Products.aspx

I wish I had the money for one. Easy as hell to set up and with all the accessories you could live very comfortably in it.
