Default why does sprint suck soo much?

course that could be said about a lot of people.

Been a sprint customer for 10 years. The dead spots that I had 10 years ago are still here.

No network upgrades are ever done. There is no 4g in Michigan whatsoever....

Just renewed my contract for another 2 years. Dumb me I guess. Person at the store said that the bill will stay the same.

Wrong! Lost my 23% discount that I previously had.

Also charged me an additional $10 per line for having a smart phone, even though I had one before I renewed. WTF

There is NO 4g service in this state and I am constantly dropping calls.

Called customer support and talked to account services. They agreed to adjust my bill for the life of the contract. Next bill comes... same ol crap.

No accountability, and constantly being lied to. What a way to run a business.

They love to tell you how they are upgrading towers and what not, yet nothing ever seems to get better here.

Wish I would have went with VZ. At least they have 4g everywhere I travel to.

Might just have to pay the stupid penalty and drop em.

Just needed to let off some steam. Going to drink some beer, End of rant!

Sprint does not even exist where I live. GF had it when she moved in and her phone then became useless. They also sold me an air card for internets way out here. At first they said that I have good coverage here. After it never worked, I went back and returned it after they checked their map again. I am off their coverage by miles. A dude with sprint was just here today and asked why his phone wasn't working. I just laughed and asked "Sprint?.....lol"

Unfortunately for me sprint is the only carrier with good service at my house. It just sucks everywhere else.

I had 4g service yesterday in gr. It was wimax not lte.
Want out of your contract? Root your phone with a ROM that lets you set roaming to "roam only" start downloading torrents and using mass amounts of data. They will boot you in a month or two.

Or if you renewed within the past 2 weeks, just go cancel.

Yes sprint sucks, but my service got remarkably better about three months ago when they were bought out. At least now I can watch youtube on my phone without it locking up. I just watched a video last night that was over a hour long and my phone never buffered once. Before I couldnt watch a video at al

I tried to switch to vz but it would have been twice what I pay now. I use around 8g a month because Im always listening to pandora.

I had Sprint over 10+ years up until last year June time... I got sick of it... 5 lines... $350 a month phone bill and no 4g except in GR.. I also have had over 100+ phones over those years from always wanting the lastest and greatest... I left and went to Verizon... Never will look back... Fuck them...

Almost the same scenario with me. I'm very happy with the switch to Verizon. The only thing I miss about sprint is the unlimited data.

im pretty happy with sprint. although I am in texas right now.

BUT, when I go to michigan I am anywhere in between milan/houghton lake/traverse city/manistique/the soo...

manistique I only got 3g service on the beach. but I had cell coverage everywhere. traverse city I was good. houghton lake was atleast cell coverage. milan I am all set...

I have a iphone 4s though. so no 4g. not looking for it. and I am pretty simple most the time.

I have Verizon for work, and MetroPCS for personal.

I have been very surprised with the progress Metro has made in the last year. 4G lte is expanding, and the only place I haven't at least had phone service is Canada.

Unlimited data means exactly that- I use my phone as a hot spot often. Upload speeds are usually between 1gb/sec and 3gb/sec - nowhere near the peak of 12gb/sec I've seen on Verizon, but not bad for $55/month for Android service.

No idea what the VZW bill is, just glad I don't have to pay it.

For those wondering why I have 2 phones- it's because when I'm on vacation, the work phone stays in my desk.

Tmobile has unlimited data. And friends still with sprint say they're getting lte in Warren, although download speeds are about 6 meg. Half the speeds I usually see on tmobile and they don't even have lte yet.
I left sprint 6 months ago, best move ever. I force roamed 12 gig power month until they booted me.

Had Sprint. Renewed contract. Bought new house within 2 weeks where Sprint had horrible coverage. Sprint refused to let me out of my contract so I switched both phones to "Roam Only". Shortly after Sprint sent me a "Warning" about my roaming usage. The following month they terminated my contract and paid for my equipment to switch to Verizon and I lived happily ever after. The End

I was traveling all over Southern Michigan and Ohio for work and never had any issues with T-Mobile. Had them for about 4 years now.

Might look into T-mobile, if it works in Canada (even roaming) I may switch from Metro since T-mobile offers no contract phones now.

I can't speak for Canada, but I'd be very surprised if it didn't.

Just checked their page, shows 2G data/voice for most of Ontario, and some of Mexico even.

I know T-Mobile is all over Germany....

I've been really happy with tmobile. They're data out in the sticks is on par with Sprint, but I'm generally in the Metro Area where it works great.
I'm pretty sure that can unlock a tmobile phone (gsm) and stick a prepaid Canadian sim card in it and be good to go.

Couple of things, if you still work for the same employer you can get your discount back. Go into a corporate store and tell them you need to validate your discount. There is a new process to avoid fraud. Or you can verify it at sprint.com/verify. Upgrades to the network have started and are being added at a very aggressive rate. Sprint is behind when it comes to LTE for sure. But there are many LTE towers up all over. They are not "official" yet but they are popping up all over. I was driving back from Lansing on 96 and had it about 4 different spots and it's becoming readily available in GR. those are the places I am most. It won't be long and they will have a solid network. Hope that helps.
