Here a shot of the final shackle angle with the weight of the truck on the springs. Front spring eye is in the second hole of the b52 kit and rear hanger is in the stock location. Looks to be ok maybe a little far back, but after doing some jack flexing I don't think it will bottom out on the frame...

And just let me know on the sheet metal. Just dont dent it to hell before hand lol.

Will do, spring is on it's way so ill probably be doorless until fall anyways, they are placed in protective quarantine, and by that I mean they are collecting dust next to my 3D bow targets, until I decide on boat side height. Luckily for you jackstand wheeling is pretty mild when it comes to body damage

And no that spaghetti shaped hard line is not staying that, I couldn't find my flaring tool and needed to get the truck moving...

Back to the steering box from hell, after dropping the worm gear out of it and only finding 22 ball bearings i was afraid it would no longer work, it did. But the splined shaft that connects to the rag joint was a different size.

Ended up swapping out the valve out of my 4wd box and it still worked even though there were some differences. In addition my box uses flare fittings instead of the o ring style my old box used. Lucky for me im at the local parts store so much they give me a ton of parts to take home and try and then I can buy what fits
Ended up taking 4 trips, a piece of a brake line and a whole new line they made up for me while I waited.

Got that bolted on and bled as well as the brakes. It still leaks out of the seal near the sector shaft but a donor seal from my old box shout fix that. Its gotta come off anyways for my ord steering box brace as the amount of frame flex in that area is scary.

Still have yet to mount my ram and get hydro lines made but hell must have frozen over cuz she is off jackstands and actually moved this week. Even though it was only with front wheel drive

My fun was ended in a effort to keep the lawn intact, the steering box started leaking and with the red labels any flexing or hill climb turned into a front dig

Got that wrapped up Friday night and helped my dad and brother finish up the new workbenches. The barn is getting a cement pad as soon as the ground stops heaving and a lift mid summer. He either feels bad for me rolling around on old carpet and rocks or wants to build another jeep, im assuming the latter but im fine with it either way

as of right now, get the rear suspension back in(changed over to drop shackle). get the ride height correct, and then need new driveshafts.

installing a full roll cage( I just got delivered).

then hopefully the 6.0l installed.

last but not least, take it out and see what I can break!

Sounds awesome, Where did you get the cage from?

That 6.0 should help you break some stuff

Appreciate it, cant view the pics tho as im not a member. Im just curious to see how it looks cuz in going to a rear taper on mine so the rear-most mounts are gonna have to be angled in to sit on top of the frame rails if that makes sense. Does it look easy to modify?

I've got pics from the guy.

Gimme a min I'll post up after I find in my email

Edit: Here you go

Im going to have Shortiron on here build mine.
He did this full vert for his buddy and sent me a few pics.

It will cost me about the same amount to have him build my cage, as the one in the box... But he is like 5 min down the road from me so thats a little different...
