Default Pay raise

I received word today that they were adjusting my pay after market comparator review.

I'm getting an extra $200 per year.

Lucky you, I got an increase in health insurance of $50 every two weeks and no raise!

Thanks for reminding me. I also had an increase in benefits cost as well as having to pay the government more money to help the needy burn through social security so that there will be none left when I retire. My net pay is moving backwards and that doesn't even account for the increase in price of staples like food and gasoline.

My last raise gave me $2 more an hour.

My company pays 100% of my health care, only thing i pay for is dental/optical and the co-pay on my prescriptions.

our full time employees are now considered "full time" @30 hours. Pay raises are frozen until 2014, "obamacare" has been whispered down the halls.

Between the sunset of the 'tax break', increased health care costs, and general cost of living, I have less disposable income now than I did in 2005.

My last raise went away on January 1st, when the Obama tax increases went into effect. Since then I have been bringing home the exact same amount as I was before I got my last raise last spring.

New guy got Hired, to replace the guy that got Fired. I lose 1 hour overtime which = ~$1000, luckily it should only be for a couple weeks, at most 2 months.

I've worked ~60 hr weeks for the last 3 years with no overtime pay (salary). Do you suppose I could get my year back with pay if there's a mutual relationship between the worker and the company?
