with the add a leaf and daystar 2" level kit i got about 1 3/4 inch of lift and can clear almost 33" bfgs. (metric size below a 33) as far as gas goes it has stayed the same acording to my computer but def notice the diff in the shifting

i do get alot of comments on the stance of it though ill post a pic of it. i love the height it is now and didnt want to go to crazy cause its my dd and i already have a lifted jeep so dont need to lift everything or wait a min maybe i do need to lift everything lol

Have that same basic setup on my 2005. It did what you are describing, but either I grew out of it, or the truck did. It doesn't hunt for gears anymore like it used to.

stock with 265's




Step removed



Bilstein 5100's at 1.75 lift and 285/65/18



It looks a lot better leveled. The 5100's ride great.

No notice of power or shifting loss, didn't drive more than a few miles though. Seems exactly the same.

truthfully the shifting isnt that bad i just noticed it on the e way or crusing at 50 up ryan rd and wanted to pick up speed to pass and had to push the pedel dont more than norm to get it to drop back a gear. for the most part i dont notice a change. nice truck btw

another dumb question how do u guys post such large pics. im a noob at the forum stuff sorry

My pictures come from photobucket.

My fancy pants smart phone uploads them there for me with the fancy pants photobucket application. I am not smart enought o figure out how to link them from photobucket to here with my phone, so I have to log onto the laptop and I just copy and paste the link with the image tags wrapped around it already
