Nice!

Your lower coilover mounts aren't gonna bind at full droop are they? Looks like the could.

ive been creeping on your build for a while. looks sweet, id like to see it in action.
My only concern would be the 1" copper your using for coolant. I could be wrong, but will the motor get the flow it needs after tapering down to 1" and back up?

Do you know anyone who has done this and it worked? just wondering.

sweet build!

They shouldnt. The axle moved forward a little bit before I took that pic so that mite be why it looks that way. If it does bind i might just change the lower spacers and fix that.

I found some guys on Pirate that were using stainless Russel flex hose with AN fittings that was only 1" inside dia. and they didnt have any problems. If it does cause a problem I will step it up but Im goin to try this for now and see how it works.

Going to move heims to other mounting hole to push axle forward another inch. Need to build the crossover for the hoops and mount the track bar.

Very Nice Build!! I would like to build something like this for general firewood and hunting applications to get back to places I don't want to take my nice truck.

Actually the GF is bustin my balls pretty bad about me not workin on it.

Havent touched it in a month. My F-1shity has been giving me all kinds of problems so I had to get the turbo ranger out of storage early and fix some things so I had something to drive.Had to work on turbo ranger before it was safe to drive and Im tryin to find the problem with the F-1shity. Had a bunch of side work lately. And my oldman decided he wanted to take over half my garage to rip a couple sleds apart and then realized he dont know how to work on them so that became my job also....

Yay for updates!

Girlfriend got the boot.Sleds are finished.F1shity runs now{thats a crazy story}. Between bonuses and taxes I finally have some cash to play with for this thing.

Spending weekend in Wellsville was great motivation so Im ready to finish this thing up.

I picked up parts to start the disc brake conversion on the 9in and I finally found a dam Doubler.

Picking up a D&D Machine doubler thats already assembled in a 1350 box.Its never been installed and was built at a good machine shop.

Now my question is I have four other cases...2 1350 manuals and 2 1354 electric shift. What would be the best case to bolt to the doubler? I have considered using the 1354 if I can figure out the wiring. Be kinda cool to only have the one lever for the doubler thru the floor and still have a push button for the primary box. Or can I use a second 1350 on the doubler? I have never seen anybody use a 1350/1350 setup before...is there a reason for this?

I also want to order some RCV shafts for my d44. Anybody recommend a good place to deal with or is it best to get them directly from RCV?

People dont use the 1350 because of the front slip style output on the driveshaft. Their isn't alot of slip for travel of the suspension and its weak. I really enjoyed my 1350/54 doubler back in the day. The 110:1 was awesome with the 4.0L and 5spd.

I would use the 1354 for sure. Now I wonder if there is a way to wire up the shift motor to run off a toggle switch. You can also swap in the stronger 6 gear planetary set from the 1354 into the 1350 to replace the 4 gear one.

I think I may end up building a doubler for murph, 1350m/1354e.
