gm independent front end

Hi I am building a wood hauler never to see pavement.
I have a 1994 chev z-71 1500. Can the fwd spiders be welded like the rear? Any suggestions on beefing things up for max load?

1st post and it's in the wrong section....off to a bad start

you don't need to mess with the front pig if your already gonna weld the rear. just weld the rear, make up some extra springs for it and add 2-3 leafs in the back. then haul away
