Ford 4x4 AOD transmission - ** SOLD **

Came out of a running 1992 F150 with 115,xxx miles on it. Was going to use it behind a Ford 302 in a Jeep project that I abandoned. Converter is included but not pictured. Been sitting in my garage for a year. Need it gone.

$125 No trades unless it's obviously more valuable.

It's definitely not an e4od. I believe it will mate with a 351w and 351c but not the 351m if I remember right. Give me a minute and I'll look it up for you...

1992 4x4 AOD out of an F150 is the strongest most updated AOD transmission Ford made from the factory. This is the one you want if you need a 4-speed auto and don't want to deal with something computer controlled. Can be built for reasonable $$$ to handle almost anything and still have an overdrive gear for highway driving if needed.

Easiest way to tell what transmission you have is to count the transmission pan bolts...

14 pan bolts = AOD
16 pan bolts = AODE or 4R70W
17 pan bolts = C6
18 pan bolts = A4LD
20 pan bolts = E4OD

The transmission I have for sale has 14 pan bolts and thus is an AOD.
