I'm sure we've all had the classic "go to store for specific item, buy 20 other things, get home, unpack, discover that you forgot the 1 item you went for in the first place" scenario play out a few times.....or as I call it, "Every trip I've ever made to Home Depot"

Forgot to latch the ball on the trailer when hooked up to my Grand Cherokee. Drove the crawler on the back of the trailer and the front came up and smashed the lift gate.

I did that same thing once, however luckily the tailgate on my truck was up. The trailer popped up and moved forward as I drove on it. I quick put my Jeep in park got out and moved my truck forward so I could back off the end of the trailer, let it drop and then hook it to the truck. me me

I have a bad habit of getting milk/oj/whatever out of the fridge, getting a glass from the cupboard, pouring it then putting the rest of the milk/oj/whatever back in the cupboard not back in the fridge

I get in, just about to put the key in the ignition, happen to look over at the flex plate sitting on the porch. I said lots of pretty things at that point.
I race prep my buggy on my own usually, and usually in a hurry. It leads to all sorts of dumb stuff

When I pull a trans, I always remove the torque converter and set it next to the bench (not on it) and cap the pump opening, then send the trans off to Tranny Tom. Keep in mind I am always in a hurry to get it rebuild and reinstalled for an upcoming race. So as soon as I get the trans back from Tom, I have every tool laid out of the floor to get the trans reinstalled in an eveing. It almost like I am trying to race myself time wise to get it back in and functional. Twice now I have reinstalled the trans to the face of block, ran down the 2 top bellhousing bolts, crawl out of the chassis and see the torque converter sitting on the floor off to the side....

Swapped a 89 4.0 motor in my 96 XJ and it took 3 weeks of messing with it and three crank position sensors before I finally found out the flex plates are diiferent.

I was cutting my own hair with the clippers one day. I was using a #3 or #4 guard. I took the guard off to shave the back of my neck (double jointed) then took a shower. Got out of the shower, looked in the mirror and saw that I missed a couple of hairs on the top of my head so I went to trim them up. Woops, forgot to put the guard back on. Went to work with my new shaved head hair cut.

I didn't go bald but once in college I decided to cut my hair when drunk. Then I tried to get a drunk friend to fix it for me. I had shortish hair for a while after that.

Almost every day I fill up my refillable water bottle then leave it on the counter and head off to wherever I'm going. Very often I find myself taking things out of their packaging throwing them away and retaining the packaging, this usually happens right after you have just scraped leftovers or otherwise nasty shit into the trashcan of course.

She pulled a porky the pig on ya eh?

Left my gun in the truck duck hunting this weekend where I met a buddy. Ended up borrowing a turkey gun with a 20-24" barrel

It looked like a chode

I won a dozen blue bill decoys
