I looked into it last week. I have 40" 16s and love them but have been looking for the same but 17" and when i called interco it was stated maybe august and from their knowledge no suppliers or vendors had any anywhere .

I dont think they would do very well on road though.

I ran the 40 inch mtr kevlars for the first year with my rig on 40s and loved them. They worked great on everything. But I had two sidewall failures and switched to the gold plated 40 inch krawlers. If I could see the Mtrs run without failure I'd buy them again in a heartbeat but 2 defects out of four in there first year are pretty shitty odds.

I have 35 MTRs on my YJ and love them! When I get new 40s for my TJ I will be looking for the MTRs to replace my Iroks for sure!

How are the MTR's in the mud? I've always thought they suffered there a little bit and that would impact Canada trips.

I'll change lug nuts all day vs spending $4000 on 5 radial tires.

I only have baby 33" mtr's but I think they really work well everywhere. Mud, snow, rocks, hard packed dirt. They go down the road pretty good too.

X2
Had them in all sorts of terrains and haven't had any issues yet. Aren't as good in the mud and snow as the Trxux MTs that I had on before, but they are not disappointing in any regard.

$22?? For 4 taxes and all.

On monday tirerack in Louisiana had 3 sets in 40" flavor.

Goodyear is starting production on them next week to fill all back orders + more. Should be available end of month.
