That's very interesting. This would complement the uniqueness of my fozzy locked 60 haha, I might try it. The truck should be moving around under its own power next week so after some messing around ill get an idea of how much wrap in gonna have..

Shouldn't take much to build a traction bar with a shackle... That's what I'm gonna do.

What are you making?

Trac bar with a shackle is what im doing also for the rear. That link wadey posted is about basically a guy who used cable to remove most of the wrap front his front springs. it cost about ten bucks so what the hell its worth a shot when I get around to it..

Installed by B52 kit and painted by shackles all pretty, ended up having to weld 1/4" plate on the insides to make up for the 2.5" leaf springs up front.

ooops

The saturday I got back home went and picked these 52's up, came out of a texas truck, guy said he removed them with hand tools and I believe it, they were in great shape down to the bushings, didn't need paint but once the rattle cans come out no surface is safe

After that I completed my mini road trip by picked these up from Michigan Maniac , 14" travel 5125's & 5150's, should round out my swap nicely...

Finally got the springs hung and axle under the truck, man are they flexy. Before with my rough country springs I could just jack the whole truck up by the diff. Tried that and ran out of jack, drivers side was still on the ground and hadn't moved the truck up hardly at all.
Also threw new calipers on the ol girl, I have to admit that H-block thing and spring retainer system these calipers use made me feel a little special.

Ran out of treads on the studs in the housing, so rather than stack washers and have my truck end up in the booty fab thread I did this with the corners of my old spring plates...

Oh and I finally got my torpedo heater going and added some insulation to the barn
