No progress on these yet because I have been busy with real work, and it has been stupid cold out there. I did pick up these this weekend that I will be mounting on these rims.
They are 33x12.5x15 but they are HUGE. The LTBs on my Jeep are 34x10.5 and they are much much bigger. The last shot if them up against my 35x12.5 BFG-

Oh and for those playing along at home. Burn baby burn.

you should totally get a tire groover and burn some sweet grooves into your new rubber and lighten them up so you don't burn out your clutch while your burning rubber on the trails and stuff

I am thinking of running the fronts backwards so I have some traction in reverse and so there is less strain on the D30. I figure I can try it that way and if they suck I can swap them to the correct way easy enough.

I have thought about getting a groover- My TSLs are already grooved, but I got them that way. I am a bit worried that my little four banger is going to have problems with these tires, but I could always back burner them and put them on the SBC powered CJ7 I am working on. For now I am just want to run them and see how they perform.

I would just run some race fuel. It burns hotter so you can burn the tires

LOL - race gas. In a four banger YJ. Funny stuff right there! I don't even run race gas in my Drag car (engine is tuned for 93 octane, runs slower on race gas).

Lots of the Zuki guys run tractor tires locally (the local ORV park is all clay slick mud- lots of guys run boggers- not many rocks, just mud mud then some more mud).

These tires are actually not much if any heavier than the 35" BFG KOs- probably within a couple pounds.

Race fuel does not burn hotter. If you want it to burn hotter you would need to lean you fuel mixture up.

Nice job on the beadlocks, Ever get a chance to get some table time and burn a few more sets out?

I did manage to make one more set- mostly because I need some cash to fix the trans in my CJ7.

I accept Paypal and trades. Not looking to start a side business, but extra cash is needed if I want my CJ to be rolling again any time soon!
