What religion are you and why?

Brought up in a religion?
Found a religion?
Is there no other right religion, but the one you believe?

Please avoid bashing. I am only asking out of curiosity and understanding.

Brought up Christian Reformed.
Still a christian, not necessarily christian reformed.
I believe that there is a God, but I'm not going to tell someone that they are wrong.
Live and let live, and I don't want you giving me crap about what I believe any more than you want me to give you crap for what you believe.

My same stance is on politics. I don't care that you might be a democrat, but I don't want to hear you giving me crap for voting republican. I would just rather talk about something that isn't going to lead to major argument, unless you can have a intelligent conversation about it without getting to argument.

Brought up in a religion? I was raised super strict southern baptists. There was no dancing allowed. Girls wore skirts and no make up.
Found a religion? I pray every night but I don't believe any religion 100%. I am probably somewhere between a Jew and a Buddist
Is there no other right religion, but the one you believe? I believe what I believe and I respect what others believe for their own reasons.

Raised Christian reformed. Now antichrist.
I think that religion is a feel good idea that people use to give themselves meaning and direction. The church is a grossly bloated cult that tells you your going to suffer a painful eternity unless you subscribe to there ways.
That kinda sums my feelings up... but not really with enough hate.

Brought up in the Christian Church, Disciples of Christ
Was a Southern Baptist, now a Baptist.
CHRISTIAN: That is the only label I really care about.

Started out in a Wesleyan Church, then mid-childhood switched to a strict Baptist Church. My wife an I currently attend a Covenant Church. I believe in God and his Son, Jesus Christ.

Started out United Methodist
Went through college....wait for it.....not going to a church building but sharing in fellowship with amazing Christian brothers and sisters
Got baptized when I was 21 as an indication that It is MY faith not my parents

Now I attend a Free Methodist Church But.....
I don't believe in a religion. I believe in Jesus Christ coming down to earth to 1. Glorify God 2. Allow us Glorify God through his Sacrifice on the cross. and 3. Follow his primary teaching to "love the Lord God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength" and to "love your neighbors as your self". The church I go to currently allows me to do this while getting fed by an amazing man of God who brings understanding and relevance to God's word.

Denominations separate the church from the common cause.

Yes, and he's tried to order the same winch from us using someone else's credit card. Can you tell Jesus that we will not ship to Mexico?

His address is Heaven and if you invite Him He lives in your heart and all you need to do is ask for Him to reveal Himself to you.

Baptized and confirmed Catholic, but we were never really strict. Went to church here and there, didn't eat meat on Fridays for Lent.

Now I'm an Apatheist. I don't denounce the existence of God, or accept, I simply don't give a fukc . If I had to pick, I would say that there is no God. It would not change any way whatsoever how I live my life. I have morals and a strong sense of right and wrong. Maybe that became of my upbringing, but those morals and ideals were not given to me by my parents through a religious setting.

Baptized catholic, went to catholic school until 6th grade I believe. Was never really in a strict religious family. Now, I believe that there is a "God", but I don't choose any particular denomination. I actually passed out 5 or 6 times in church as a kid (claustrophobia maybe...?). Maybe that was a sign....
