Towing rzr xp sideways

Does anyone do this? I'm reading 102" is the legal limit, and 106" in some circumstances.

Being a non commercial vehicle, is it possible to put a wide load sign on back and get away with it?
I know DOT can be a bitch some time and I don't want to push my luck..

It all depends on if you want to push your luck. You might not have a problem squeaking by, but you never know when you might get that one dick cop who needs to fill his ticket quota.

Just have a "doctored" tape measure and offer it to the suspecting officer when they inquire.

I'm asking if there are any way to haul wider than 102" like I see done on 96 all the time, but do it legally. For a non commercial, recreational use.

This photo is terrible, but it's two standard rzr's sideways, no idea what they measure.

Yeah, we never even thought about width laws, funny you mention that though, one of the guys riding with me was a cop, and we passed about 500 cops that day (they were all heading up north to a state troopers funeral who I think died in a high speed chase?) and no one bothered us.....remember if no one pulls you over for it, its automatically legal moving forward x infinite.

That, and I don't know if the standard rzr is the same as the XP, which is why I mentioned they were standard rzr's

A stock RZR sport is 103"
So they could be legal if something was removed or bumpers were reworked to lose 1"
