I know this post is kind of old but anyway I was nailed for the same shit but the cop took it a step further he called for a flatbed and was having my truck towed .The front of my truck came in at 29.5 to the bottom witch is made out of plastic and surrounds the fog lights this clown starts to tell me the plastic part of the bumper dont count on the measurement and to the metal it was almost 32 ...30 max by law. The rear of my truck was damaged in a accident so i had to remove the rear bumper and i was on my way up to this body shop well with the rear bumper off i came in at 41 inches this cop gave me a real hard time . So plans are to go with a body armor stealth for the front and have a custom rear bumper made for the rear.It might look stupid but no way am i lowering the truck. Had my buddy who is police officer sign the ticket case dissmissed.

Im going to research if gm considers the black piece along the bottom of my bumper a part of the front bumper ...pictured in my screen picture...i believe it is a part of the front bumper and looks like i might have to retrieve the mdot number on the piece and start carrying that around i guess!

If it does not add crash protection, it's not a bumper.

Dominos BBQ Chicken Pizza with double chicken, double bacon, green peppers, onions, and jalapenos. Once it gets in the house smother it with McCormick ground Chipotle pepper and Weber Roasted Garlic and Herb seasoning. Throw in oven for five minutes at 450 degrees.

Enjoy.

Holy shit SS!! That sound amazing. I like their BBQ chicken pizza as is and that can only be better. The GF wanted Pizza Hut tonight which is not my favorite but will do.

I am craving some Fricano's from Grand Haven. Guess I need to go see my mom.

you mean these speed limits?

http://www.detroitnews.com/article/2...ETRO05/4270380

Quote:
Metro Detroit motorists who exceed posted speed limits may not be breaking the law, because in many cases the limits themselves are unlawful, according to one of the state's top traffic cops.

Four years after the passage of Public Act 85, which requires municipalities in Michigan to conduct studies to set proper speed limits, most cities, villages and townships have not complied, according to Lt. Gary Megge, head of the Michigan State Police Traffic Services Section.

One likely reason, said Megge, whose section advises communities on how to set proper speed limits, is that communities want speeding ticket revenue, and failing to conduct the required speed studies allows them to keep enforcing their speed limits that Megge calls "artificially low."
yeah, screw 'em...

Do you really think what GM has to say has anything to do with the law or how it's applied?
