Label claims it's not Moonshine or un-aged White Dog. Hell if I know otherwise. I do know as shitty as it is and it is shitty, I completed the bottle by 2 A.M. and awoke at 8 this morning without so much as a slight spark knock, no "headache" at all. I agree yellowcj5, Knob Creek is good Bourbon.
Looks/sounds like they're using non-charred barrels, so it may pick up some sugars from the wood, but keep the clear color.

I have a bunch of the extra white oak staves they put into Makers Mark 46 (used) that I'm making shot glass racks out of.
Where did you acquire these staves from?

Bought them at Makers Mark. Did the Bourbon Trail plus a few extra and Jack Daniels.

Picked it up at the distillery last month.

If any of you get down there, stop in at the Willett Distillery just outside Bardstown. Awesome stuff!

We're going down in April. My niece just got married and they are living down thar by Lul-ville. My brother brought up some Apple Pie Shine at Xmas time.

I have some Buffalo Trace thats my go to. My Daughter got me a bottle of Makers 46 for my B'day and I just picked up a Bottle beer barrel Bourbon at the New Holland Brewery last week thats not too bad.

Had a Gingerbeer and Bullet at French Laundry last weekend, Awesome. Can't wait till summer floating in the pool with that!

As much of a treat this stuff is, I'll stick to Jack Daniels for alkyhol and Bud light for beer.

No matter where I go, I can always get either one.

I've had a bottle of that sitting on my shelf for a while. I should try it.

Nice to see that they listened to their customers and decided not to keep watering down the MM!

Nice...

Folks, note that the Willett bourbons are all bottles at "barrel proof", meaning NO water is added to adjust proof.

Was at their distilery last year and was not a fan of anything they made during the tasting.

Makers Mark is much better in my opinion along with Wild Turkey.
