i didnt break anything.wheeled the crap out of it.but........me and shawn was beating the snot out of it on verticale challenge.ended up rolling it down the waterfall layed on it side for a while.when i went to start it it rolled over hard.then hit it again.has a nice knock to it now.wooops. pretty sure i bent a rod.so do i rebuild this motor or find a ls1 and put in it?really want a ls1.if i rebuild this one im doing the cam and springs with a new tune. so motor getting upgraded now,tranny getting changed to a 4500,swapping a ford 205 in it,new hubs,flanges joints in the front axle new tires and wheels.going to be a different rig when i get done.

Personally, I'd put another 5.3 in for the money. Most people buy a LS-1 so they can say "It has a LS-1". Cam it, dyno tune it and bring the woopow!

it was 3 in the morning and i got schooled by stickys on that waterfall. i cant believe it didnt break before i rolled.i was full on beating it trying to make the line. the bald iroks didnt help me.lol i do want more power if im going to run down south.

sweet. thats what i was looking for.there was a couple times it popped up good on the hill. wish i ran a little later.the lip was nocked down and the stump was gone.was sick just hitting a hill like that!

its getting a ls1 if i can find a long block for a good price.if not im doing some hop ups to my 5.3.
i have had bad luck with tires 20's dont work for me.it will have some new rubber rims and other cool stuff soon.its time to get into the game.im getting the weak spots figured out.i put a serious beating on it sat night.and drove it back into the truck.(just knocked a bit)

Why? Stock lq4 makes more power and has more potential to make big power. Stick with a stock 5.3 and continue to drive like it owes you something knowing a replacement is only $500 when your trying to right a rollover. You're going to drive more cautiously to not hurt a bling engine. F that, stocker and hold it to the floor

all aluminum for 1 brandon.i hate 6.0 liters.dont rev fast enough unless you dump a ton of money into them.i dont know im looking for options for more power.not apposed to spend a couple grand on something. dont get me wrong i love the 5.3. just want more.i can get around 430 out of my 5.3 easy.a stock ls1 is around 450 and weighs less.

It's 80lbs ish diff in the block, but an LS-1 is 345hp, not 450 and that's for the corvette version. Not sure where you're getting that number from. Does 4200lbs vs 4280 make that much of a difference? Come look at my chevette and I'll show you a slow revving LQ4

woops i meant 340 hp for my 5.3 and 350 for the ls1.yes i want the vette motor. i dont know im just looking at options brandon.i have 6 weeks to have it all done...
