There is a sushi place off of Hagadorn that is supposed to be pretty decent. One of my buddies had some asian persuasion and they would always go there so it can't be too bad.

If you skip desert and only have one drink each you should be able to get out the door for around $60. Weekend will most likely require a reservation.

These are nothing fancy and dinners are usually $10 or less

Dublin Square in EL.

More of a casual pub, but excellent food and beer selection. Maybe a lunch or after-dinner option.

Technically not owned by the same family, but by two people that are brothers if I remember right.

To me that is no different than TGI Fridays or Appleby's. Just another chain.

Only two of them... menu fitted our tastes best. Some of the places I couldn't see the menus on my phone, so that eliminates them.

Didn't say I was looking for the schnazziest place in town by any means

I like Stillwater. Never been to Okemos location but have eaten at the Brighton one a dozen times.
Red cedar grill in Williamson is very good also. Same owners as Brighton bar and grill.

Stillwater is pretty Ok.

I go to Franks Press Box fairly often and the food is pretty good but it can be loud if there is a game on or a bunch of drunk girls screaming for nofuckingreason.

I've eaten at GilbertandBlakes once and wasn't that impressed. It was a large group(work party) so I might give it another try.

I've eaten at Gracies Place in Williamston once and after a 32$ steak that was cooked way wrong and was only slightly larger then the meat in a White Castle and some of the worst service I've ever had in a restaurant I will never set foot in there ever again.

Which is why I thought twice about going there. Also why I don't usually go to Lou& Harry's even though she lives in the apartments behind that strip mall

We've always favored Clara's http://www.claras.com/LNlocation.shtml
We haven't lived in the area since '97, but we've been to Clara's many times since then and I'm pretty sure we've been there within the last year.

The Red Cedar grill in Williamston is nice as well. I haven't been there since we moved away, but it sounds like it's held up.
