Default Correct MPGs?

Just bought an 06 Rubicon with an automatic. Getting about 250 miles per 18 gallons. That's about 14mpgs. I use it as a daily driver so I know it'll be low, but damn, 13/14?!?!

Is that right?

Really? I've picked up 20 on the stock auto xj on the old lady's... She can't get more than 18 though.

I saw 19 on my 06 LJ auto when in stock form. Now, on 35's and 4.88's it's about 12. Was on 33's and 4.56's and it was still in the 12's. My friend had an 04 Ruby auto and he never got better then 15.

My 2005 LJ was getting 14 flat, then the lift and tires exhaust mods and we got it up to a cool 11.5 mpg now.

My YJ is supercharged and on 35s with 4.10s gets 15-16. It got 16 stock. Things like an electric fan, exhaust, cleaning up the head and 99+ intake and tuning helped keep decent mileage after adding all the weight and the lift.

2000 tj 5 speed 4.10's 33's I average 14-15 mixed. With my gears I always shift at 2 grand and it seems to keep my mpg's a little better.

About the same as everyone else - skinny 33" ATs, 4sp OD auto, 3.73 - I get 12-13 around town and up to 17 on the freeway (right lane, 62mph, cruise, OD locked out)

My 09 6 speed Jk on stock wheels, 3.73's, fully skidded/steel bumpers and sliders (lots of extra weight) is getting 17mpg on average.
