Are you buying the Irocks new?

I really don't understand why you would waste that kind of money the 43's are just flat out tough tires.

With your track record I think anything else is just burning money.

i can get eather one.just dont know.i want a sticky,im running the whole srrs.i dont have the power a bunch of other guys do.i need to keep it light as i can,so a sticky light 42 seems to be the smarter way to go.i need any kind of edge i can get. but yes i also think just buy some 43 stickies.but they are so soft they only will last half as long and cost a shit ton. i really need a tire sponshorship.im going to make some calls and see what i can come up with.

I agree. It takes finesse to go slow. Anybody can glue their foot to the firewall.

Those might be a good buy. Want to buy my stickies?

Irok sidewalls are garbage and you know you have issues with sidewalls, 42" mtrs are hard to get a hold of and $$$$. I still think you're best bet is the 43" non sticky but I'm just winging it too Get some of those 17" bling lightweight racelines that TC breaks and you'll have a wheel/tire weight lower than the sticky 42 on a steel weld on beadlock.
i will be running raceline wheels. you guys are killing me. i love the 43sx, i dont know.travis made me a good offer on his combo.saving a couple grand or more if i was buying new.

I would like to see the difference of a non sticky vs a sticky when on rocks going 75 mph...

Just wondering if for rock "bouncing" if the sticky is even really needed at all

i know its amazing how much softer the sticky 43 is then the regular.a sticky is a grand more for a 43 and will last half as long. i dont know i will make my mind up soon.

I honestly don't think a sticky would be all that beneficial for a rock bouncer going fast. I find that some of my best traction is at an idle. Sitting on a hill and smoking the tires would burn them up in no time. I'm also not sure that in a bias 42-43" tire that there is much of a difference as long as they are a big lug tire.

Yes buy some more used tires that have been beat to shit. I mean absolute shit. Buy new and stop killing tires.

I can name one tire that has survived your rig..

You have had every brand interco makes on it. At one time!

The 43 is the only one you have not hurt

Beefy is bringing the "win" to this thread. I second, third, whatever, just flat out agree that you need tough sidewalls. And i guess its debatable on the sticky's. I just don't see where sticky's are worth it when all you're doing is hammering it. Sticky's definitely have an advantage when crawling though, and I think you're past the crawling phase
