Well..been kinda busy and sick for a few days feeling better..
Ill upload some pix tomorrow..but here's what happened tonight.
Finished up what i could on the motor to realize...
I need a 45 degree swivel water neck, should be here end of this week.
Need to add some tube to my headers in order to put a flange on them, hope to get these bent Thursday.
Decided to change my Trans fluid, been a season, its draining as i type. Also figured id straighten my skid plate a bit while it was off!!!
Noticed the other night my winch wasnt working...so i diagnosed and got a new solenoid on the way, should be here Thursday. Grrrr.
Also noticed that somewhere and some how i peeled the diff cover ring off my dana60 and its leaking pretty bad, so im ordering a new diff cover tomorrow.
I need a old school floor mount dimmer switch to control my headlights, accepting donations..lol.got a little rammy with the steering column and broke the dang stick off. :banghead:

On a better note, my steering is stout, with the new location.
The jeep will Probably have dust on it from setting...have family coming down and staying with us this weekend from marquette.

Every time i almost wrap one thing up i find another...dang it...haha..

Sended frum da cumputar box in my hands eh.

Well got to sweep the moth balls off the jeep today.
Got my blue torch fab diy diff cover...welded up n painted.

On my todo list, my rear shocks were too long since i keep lowering the jeep. They were bottomed out at ride height. So i flexed everything out the best i could. Made a new mount, which moved them through the floor!!!

Also had to clearance my skid plate around my front drive shaft some more..it hit a fuzz
Not my best work, but i couldn't really find a better way..

Still waiting for my 2nd winch solenoid, first new one was junk. Also to run motor im still waiting on a swivel 45 degree water neck, will b here Monday. And my lazy butt hasn't been to the exhaust shop yet to get my 2 pcs of pipe bent in order to finish up the exhaust...:banghead:

May not have time to do much tomorrow...had a TJ come to the shop, needs a stupid heater core...pita:thumbdown:

Got motor running, drove it for a while tonight...runs good, starts awesomer than it evar haz!!!
Pretty sure it is sold! Guy will gimme $2000 for it, so im now looking hard for a 6.0, and associated parts..like adapters, harness and computer...yaay. Maybe keep the motor in for a week, just to drive the jeep in the deep snow.

Stupid thing still has death wobble, gonna try and adjust the links to get rid of that. Thanks for the idea Kyle!
I know how to fix it for good..full hydro!!!! Or maybe hydro assist..but been there done that..not worth it..except to just kill the wabble.

I have been trying to upload pix, but my dang photobucket aint wurkin. Grrr!!!

As everyone says.."This thread is useless without pix"

So you took it apart, built it, then took it back apart, then sold the motor? Nice work

Photo bucket finally fixed..dont know what was wrong..grrr.

Well finally a pictorial update..

Guy backed out of buying my motor..pissed...so its still for sale, until there here it sits in the jeep.

Had some winch motor issues, smittybilt sent me two solenoids, both didnt fix the problem, now i have the winch motor tore off waiting for the new one..

The brush tensioner springs were broke i guess that's what im calling them

Got my BTF front diff cover on..seems tough..definitely not a ruffstuff one, but still 3/8" flange with 1/4" cover...looks good..

Also got my rear shocks stuck through the floor rear of the jeep tub. Didnt have enough travel and were bottomed out after i put the Durango springs on.

Shock hoop before install..

Also had to clearance my front skid plate more for the front driveshaft...since ive lowered the jeep 4" it crashed a bit on full compression.

These already may be on here but here are some pix of the build of the BTF diff cover.

I think thats all i got done in the past few weeks. Need to get it out and play with it...
Still has a torn top, so its a little chille, but still semi covered..for the driver..hahah..
