In Ohio, the county sheriffs can issue Level 1 thru 3 warnings. Not sure exactly what the levels are defined as anymore, but at level 3 all roads are closed to any other than emergency vehicles. I laughed at a friend posting this on Facebook the other day that it would never work in MI. But in SE Ohio where drop offs of 200-300 feet are common with minimal guard rails, things go to shit in a hurry. Not like lower MI where you may run into a little ditch if you slide off the road.

Wind is constant at 40 mph right now gusts to well over 60. Temp is 32 so a real nice heavy wet snow. And to make the night complete lost power an hour or two ago... Going to be a long night ahead

Ohio only exists because no one wanted Toledo or Cincinati.

But their highway is flat and straight and they want you to drive 65 mph, that is why Ohio sucks

You need to visit the SE side of Ohio if you think they are flat and straight. The state highway I used to drive to college was once rated by Car and Driver as one of the Top 10 best stretches of road to drive a sports car in the US. Yes, they are flat and straight on the west side of the state.

We usually stop in SE Ohio on our way to west v to go trail riding. In any given store/business there are more teeth in WV than in SE Ohio.

Parts of SE Ohio can be a bit scary. Not unlike portions of the upper LP or the UP.
