Shit, growing up in the UP we hardly ever had snow days. I remember trudging through 14 feet of snow for 3 miles up the hill both ways with a half rick of wood in our bags!.
Pussies!!!

14 inches of the wet heavy stuff last night. It was not fun brushing off the Crew Cab this morning.

hahaha, I ranted all about the school closings all winter so far on my facebook.....some people seemed to think I was a scrooge or didn't care about the kids safety.

We used to have main roads only bussing, delayed starts, all sorts of weather altering deals, but school rarely closed....

drifts does not equal snowfall

I think about 8 inches of wet and heavy fell here in the last 24 hours along with some rain.

I didn't even have to use 4x4 to get from Clarkston to Auburn Hills for work. We had about 5" in auburn hills and 7" in Northern Clarkston. Can't complain it is enough to break out the sleds!

I spent the last week riding from Pine Stump Junction to Wisconson and all of the trails were awsome.
