Default GL4x4 help.

Hi. My name is Chris. I am president of a little club on the south side of Chicago. I am spearheading a charity build for a Chicago fireman with a disabled daughter. Since he is CFD he has good benefits and with an Allstar team of doctors and strong family base. Veronica is well taken care of and has shown remarkable progress. A few months ago she started walking on her own at the age of 2 and a half.
Our plan is to do something for Guy. He is the give his shirt off his back and not look for anything in return type of man. Besides I don't know what I would do or be able to handle if it was one of my daughters.
Over the years Guy has managed to swap a 4.0 in for the 2.5. He has 4inch sua and 35s on his 94 yj. His issues are it sits on stock axles and broke tcase. The goal is to get his rig to a point where he can handle moderate wheeling without too much worry of breakage. Therefore getting him out on the trail more often. A sort of fast forward on his build.
There is a facebook page. Project "goober". Please share, like and comment. Either Google or fb search. We are still accepting donations as well. Here is my contact info.

I am slightly confused. Guy has a disabled daughter, Guy is not hurt, has a job, bennefits, etc. Guys Jeep is broke and maybe not as capable as he would like. You are trying to do something nice for Guy (since he is very nice) by fixing up his Jeep? This does not bennefit his daughter, just Guy? I am just curious as your post is slightly confusing.

Was just wondering where the disabled daughter part came in. I am all for doing nice things for nice people. Most people are more motivated to do things for people that are disabled or cant do that "thing" for themselves. Not trying to stir up any crap.

I have gotten some odd replies here and there like why don't you pay his electric bill or something. Well I said make avdonation tagged for electric bill and I will give it to his wife for electric bill. Oddly enough, no donation was ever made. Go figure.

This is about helping a fellow wheeler get out on the trails more often. His daughter was born with a stroke and all his time is spent going to 7different therapists a week to help train the right side of her brain to do the work for the lack of the left side.
I am not a doctor. I am president of a little jeep club and I had a brainstorm on what I could do to help Guy out. Use some vendor contacts that I have made doing stuff for the club to help someone out. That sure could use a break somewhere.
I broke the news to Guy on Christmas day. At first he was pissed. Then he was just quiet for a bit and said. Only one condition. That he gets to be hands on during the actual build. He takes pride that he has built his jeep and wants to be as much of a part as he can be.
We are picking weekend to do this at our meeting on Sat. And then its going to be wrenchfest getting her together.

He wants us to help build him a Jeep, and then break his face when we are done.
