If someone can organize a run at the mounds why not start a thread and set up a run there too? I would do both in an attempt to make everyone happy if I could but I honestly couldn't do the set up on any other weekend than the one we already have planned. Like I said earlier, I would attend if I am able and I won't be offended or upset in any way. I think both runs could have good attendance too as it sounds like they would attract different groups and potentially some people would attend both.

I updated it and now I assume you are setting one up at the mounds and don't want the confusion.

Please stop muddying up this thread and someone please create a thread to start the mounds run.

Chili run is not an official event. If you don't want to go to Rocks and Valleys, then no chili for you

I'll try and make it. Would love to get to R&V again, with my Jeep this time.

Instead of generators, why not use a turkey fryer and dump all the chilli together in one big pot...

I usually use a big pot on a big burner like that.

I was going to say that Ron offered us a turkey frier yesterday too. We will have a variety of chilis going so people can sample differences or pick which one they like. If anyone is brining a large pot of chili and not a crockpot the turkey frier is available.
I am really excited. This should be a lot of fun.
