The amount of water up there is going to really depend on the winter and how wet the spring is. I think it was really dry up there last year since we had such a mild winter and was really dry during the summer.................... Almost every hole has a bottom that is fairly solid. these pics are from 2008.
That one is filled in now

And no the holes that are pictured in this thread only one has a hard bottom...

P.S. that pic where Marv (Grandman) is going into a mud hole. I pulled him out of that hole with a dead engine.

Then I went in (Brilliant!) and I also lost an engine that day.

Making our reservation at Wa-Wen was easy.
I've heard way too many nice things about Wa-Wen and its owners not to stay there while we're on the island.

They are great. Mike's parents dock their boat there when they are up at the island. I make my reservations at the inlaws when I am up on the island. I have built in dog sitters too.

That was a pretty silly convoy back to camp that day. 3 hurt vehicles towing 3 dead vehicles. I was running hot and death wobbled over 25mph pulling gman back.

The only hard thing about this vacation is going to be leaving my 3 babies at home.
They will be well taken care of by Joes daughter while we are gone though.

The Ledges you can drive a car to. Marble Head and Shale beach are do-able but gets a little wet south of shale beach. Dont take the Plywood camp trail, that is where Dipstick hole is. It gets wet back there. Conners Hole I have drove through in my stock F-250, depending on rain fall. Paul and Laneen @ wa-wen will take great care of you. Let me know when your going. We are up there at least every other weekend in the summer. If we are there we could show you guys around.

My stock '92 YJ on 30"s going down Marble Head. I have been there the past 4 years for DOA and have not had a problem getting anywhere with the group. You have nothing to fear with yours.
