I telecommuted to my family room this morning because I had a bunch of people unable to commute through the mess or scary this morning. I had today off but that didn't work out. I still plan to run my errands though.

96 is salt water. Kicked ice off the bottom of the pickup this morning and lost more of the driver's side cab corner! Passed a few people today on my way to work. One half cord of ash in the bed required a little effort to pull off a decent fishtail.

Three car accident on 96 westbound just east of 23 included a random rim/tire combo in the ditch. whoops!

No problems commuting from Oxford to Auburn Hills. Oxford area is icy. Back roads are quite icy and slick, no way busses were going down them safely, so closing school here was pretty easy call.

Same story here. Except I got up at about 11. I nearly tripped on the dog on the trip between my bed and my desk...

My dog very quickly took my spot on the bed. That's what forced me to the office

My driveway was a mess. Took a few hours to clear that heavy slushy icy shit.

But it was fun with my tractor plow.

So, who are the hard workers today? I made it in after leaving at 5:30. Good news is I found a decent gas station coffee since we had no power this morning.

2wd drive and power slides the whole way!

...........I lie. My new truck won’t due power slides. And I always drive like an old man anyways. Set the cruise at 62 on I94 this morning for 20 min like I do every morning. Had a strange wiggling sensation the whole way from either driving in ice ruts or the stability control doing weird shit that I am not used to compared to previous rides. Uneventful.

Gayla made path to my garage, before she left at 5:15 for work. Guess she made it. Bryan no school, he'll bring wood in. First day back in garage, hope to get green cj7 done for St Pats weekend at Rocks & Valleys. Made through another heart attack 5 of them now. Have a great day.

I guess I should have said who are the ones that didn't call-in in advance expecting a horrible drive. The front office is pretty bare, not sure about the shop floor yet.

i drive all backroads in and there was still an accident. An f250 pulling a big gooseneck full of pallats...slid across the road and into the opposite ditch/bank, resulting in him being able to check the load on his trailer in his truck headlights...
