Not exactly sure where this one is, but it is on the way out to the ledges.........it can be not good either

The amount of water up there is going to really depend on the winter and how wet the spring is. I think it was really dry up there last year since we had such a mild winter and was really dry during the summer.................... Almost every hole has a bottom that is fairly solid. these pics are from 2008.

I have never been there but have been told that every obstacle has a by-pass if you prefer.
But from what I have been told you should do just fine.

We did DOA this summer, and there was a bone-stock JK Rubicon with us that did fine.

almost every water hole has a rock solid bottom. its like bumpy pavement on the bottom.
last time i was there there was a stock zj on 235's behind me all day. he was on my strap once for about 5 ft. you will do fine on drummond, enjoy!

dont forget to air down, and you will be in 4low almost always on the trail.
lots of large pumpkin sized rocks everywhere.

breakfast at the bear track is a must! get the marbled rye toast with what ever you order.

are you wheeling alone? do you have a winch?

Hey Michelle, quit worrying, you're going to be with a good group, we won't leave you stranded even if you did get in trouble. Surviving the campfires might be harder than the trailrides.

Just add a snorkel to the rig and take off your shoes and roll your pants up and you be good.

I went up there in October I honestly I think the island is not what its talked up to be. It was fun and scenic, but I did the majority of the trails and needed 4wd once which I probabaly would have been able to get out in 2wd if I wanted. I did not air down or think about my winch. I did all of the "harder trails" and honestly was just tired of bouncing on little rocks by the end of the day.

I did find one water hole near marble head that was very deep. Depth stick put the water about 8" over my hood, and that's a tj with 35s and about 4" of lift. Luckily just as I started to drop in we noticed some caution tape and decided to investigate first.

I've heard lots of good things about the food and the people who run it too.
Stayed at Wa-Wen two years in a row. The owners are very nice people and very helpful. They were always around and always asking if we were enjoying ourselves. We broke a few different times and they let us use any tools they had that we didn't including their welder. You will have a blast.

The owner of Wa-Wen has a plane and even flew one of our members to Sault Ste Marie to get parts to get his Jeep back on the trail.
