Default YJ tube fenders and rock rails

Just finished this fab work. I'm pretty happy with the results. The steps on the rocker rails are removable for the trail. They look kinda dorky on but, the wife and kids are not overly tall. I used tubes from TrailTubes.com. I kept track of cost for grins. Tubes were $375. I got about $100 in other steel and another $65 in welding wire, grinding wheels, etc. I am figuring $4-500 for powder coating everything for a total of $940-1040. Same stuff from Poison Spyder would add up to around $1900 shipped.

Thanks. Yep - the steps are removable. Probably run without them most of the time.

That's probably a good plan.

Cool idea with the removable steps. I want to do something similar when I build rocker protection, makes it easier for shorter people to get in at the DQ...

Thanks. Idea behind my build is to spend time with the family. I figure they will have more fun if the can actually get in the Jeep.

Absolutely anything you need just let me know. I am in the barn pretty much every evening and most of the weekend every week.
