there is a member on here that did a cross country tour on his bike. i've been looking for the thread but can't seem to locate it.

I saw that too when it was posted. It's not the bike I would have picked, but hey if you can handle the ergos, go for it.

I sat on a few ducs at the show, mostly the hyper motards. They seem really small. Granted, I'm not the smallest guy in the world, but I'm not that tall, about 5'9".



For that trip I would pick this one:
