Default 1978 Ford Bronco $6800

This is my daily driver (I only drive 3 miles to work so I don't run up miles). It is mechanically sound as I drove this truck to Bristol Tennessee this past summer for the night race. Transmission rebuilt this year by Bell Transmissions, new heater core, new 60amp alt, rebuilt carb, new tires all around. Much of this work was to ensure reliability. Undercarriage is very clean, Engine compartment is very clean. Body is decent, interior is decent but could use new rubber floor covering. Stock 351m with no mods, starts and runs good (even has OEM emissions system in place). Ford 9" rear and Dana 44 front. About a 6" lift on 35" tires. Aside from the lift kit this is a very unmolested Bronco which is hard to find. Vintage Shelby Industries Turbine wheels. I had no problem starting the truck this morning in 12 degree weather. I would have taken better pics but it is 6 now. Nice solid truck - not a show truck. Will need new rear window motor for which I plan to do when it gets warmer. Still works but I have to assist it. Would be easy restoration for right person. I also have the hard to find SKYLER soft top that makes it look more like a pickup truck.

As I said, this is my daily driver and I am not totally convinced I am ready to sell so I won't consider low ball offers. I am trying to get out of debt this year and switching to an economy car should help me get there. So cash and trade deal may be considered provided the econo car is reliable. $6800.00

Thanks,
Mike

Thanks! Really fun to drive and everything is simple and easy to work on. I think it took all of 30 minutes to change the heater core. Can't hardly do that on todays cars.

PS. New rear drum brakes, including wheel cylinders, drums, shoes and hardware. Parts are cheap thanks to Rock Auto. That too took no time at all.

Thanks. I also have a Skyler top for it that gives it a shortbed pickup look. I don't have any pics of that right now but I attached a pic of one on a later bronco. Same look as mine. Real nice as it lightens the truck and can easily go from topless to covered in case of rain. Once again this pic is NOT of my truck. Just a sample of a Skyler top.
