Sprints coverage and Data power both suck. No 4g at all and a year before lte is availible..usleless phone with unlimited everything u cant get a signal on...

Wife and I may go back to AT$T or try Verizon

i have had att for many years. the phone service is good.
the service at the store today was a joke!
450lb black woman told me all their phones are all smart phones and a data plan was mandatory.

i could go to tmobil and its a bunch cheaper per month, but they make the money selling phones that are way over priced. galaxy s3 for $659.99, i dont think so.

That price is off contract. All the providers are priced that high if you don't sign a contract and buy the phone outright.
The gs3 through tmo is like $239 right now. The att and tmobile phones are actually worth more because they are gsm, or world phones. Sprint and Verizon are cdma and are pretty much only used in North America.
If I were in Thailand I could buy a pre paid sim card, stick it in my unlocked tmobile Note 2 and be good to go. Great for people who travel for work, or even me who likes to have my smartphone while in the carribean
The resale value is much higher on a phone you can use anywhere.

Boost Mobile!
The wife I have been with them for 18 months and couldn't be happier
They run off the Sprint towers
Uliminted Plans are $55 month, every 6th on time payment your bill shrinks $5.00 down to $40 after 18 months.
They have really nice phones for being a no contract pay as you go provider.

MetroPCS personal.

Happy with both.

Dropped ATT several years ago, when they first started raping customers.

I have Verizon With the RaZr Maxx. Love the phone and service. Very rarely do I not have 4G around major city's. I pay 100 a month for 400 min but still have the old unlimited plan for everything else.

Tmobile gets me for just over $200 a month. Unlimited data, talk, text, unthrottled data, and full insurance on 3 lines. It's not cheap, but I can't have overage charges, and need reliable data service for work. Sprint wasn't cutting it.

Another vote for T-Mobile. I have them, with 2 smart phones (both Windows based, swapping one to Droid in a few days).

They do have some customer service issues if your bill gets screwed up, or if the person in the store doesn't know what they're doing.

It's a little ways out for you, but I highly recommend Damien at the T-Mobile store on Telegraph in Taylor, I believe it's 8225 Telegraph. He's been able to take care of my customer service issues every time (mostly related to inlaw screwing with my plan).

I think T-Mobile has the best blend of contract vs no contract. If you don't want to be locked into a contract, like MetroPCS, then you can pay for the phone outright (at the full MSRP, which hurts on smart phones). If you don't mind a contract, you can still do a reduced payment for the phone, and they roll the rest into your bill in installments.

For example, I just got the Lumia 810. I paid $100 down, and I pay $17 a month on my bill that goes towards the phone. So I pay my $60 for unlimited everything (including uncapped data, I run about 4gb a month), plus the $17 on my line for the phone payment, plus taxes and insurance on the phone. It adds up, but the service has been great, been with them for a bit over a year now.

Coverage wise, I haven't been anywhere on this side of the state that doesn't have a solid 4G signal. If you call or text people outside the US though, including Canada, make sure they add international call/text, as it is not automatically included in the unlimited plans.

Have you gone Up North with the Metro phone? If you have, how was the coverage?
