Default anyone able to get good pricing for shipping larger items?

I have a 40lb box 48x32x12 ish that I need to ship, $150 from ups and fedex, anyone able to save me some $$ ?

Were are you shipping it from? Using a business location is one way to save coin. You may also want to check with freight companies. They charge by floor space and your package is small.

Look into USPS Ive shipped saddles in large boxes about 30lbs for like $55

where is it going? i work for a LTL trucking company. sometimes our rates are better then ups and fedex depending on the destination.

I tried to get a quote through USPS website and it said no dice, maybe I was doing it wrong? I did something wrong once before, I don't remember what it was though because I think I was actually wrong about thinking I had done something wrong.

Greyhound. I just used them for a similar size package and it was ~70 from CO to MI, took 4 days.

Like other said greyhound is a choice sometimes. Is this going to a business from a business? If you can ship that way you can save some money. Thought about sending it with someone on here? Doesn't that route 55 guy hotshot? You Have probably thought of that just an idea.

It's going to arkansas.

I actually just measured the box, its 53x29x9 and it cut the price in half (157 to 65)from the measurements I posted. That's cheap enough for me, the buyer is paying shipping anyway, was just trying to save him some cash.
