I got 250 miles in before the melt so im good for a few days. I was glad when all the downstaters went home after the new years , trails were awesome until the following weekend then it hit dirt. Now I think its more water now then dirt. I miss the snow

I'd be pissed if I spent a couple k on a toy and there wasn't any dirt to ride it on.

My sled has not been on trails since 1993, the last time there was decent snow around Tawas at Christmas.

It has not been ridden on private property even in close to 10 years. I can't justify getting it going just to park it 2 days later when the snow melts.

I remember riding one all winter in the backyard as a kid - a 1.5 acre parcel at that but there was enough snow back then.

I picked up a replacement chassis for it back in the MJ days and have never done the engine swap - I think it came from Booblinker actually.

Last year I bought a new snowblower, no snow.
This year I bought a new(well new to me) snowmobile and it's looking like no snow.

Maybe next year I'll buy a fucking boat so I can ride my snowmobile.

I love Grand Marais. If you've never had it, the pizza at The Diner is the best. Also the B & B behind The Diner is terrific.

I didn't even get to ride before the thaw I have been waiting on my clutch kit from Bikeman Performance to get here for over almost a month. Sled has been tore down waiting for it. Finally got it put in and now there is no snow.

Was in Paradise for the weekend, rode some on friday, some two tracks, state trails were un-ridable. Then the rain and warm temps came, all the trails I saw on the drive home were mud. Spent Saturday swapping a few clutches around for some high elevation riding.
