Hes not the one building or designing it, oh and he's using 1 1/4" schedule 40 not the 1 3/4" i originally thought

1 1/4" hope hes building a gokart, have you looked at pvc no welding and cheap with the same results as schedule 40

I'm guessing he is talking about 1 1/4 pipe, not tube. It is about 1 5/8 od and sch 40 is atleast .120 wall. Pipe thickness is rated in "schedule" not wall thickness like tube. The size and thickness isn't the issue, the grade is.

Don't listem to these fuckin weenies, they don't have the slightes clue! 1 1/4" schedule 40 has a 1.66 od with a .140 wall. Plenty of strength for what your looking to do! I've built tons of cages out of it and it's more than strong enough if you know what your doing!
