Pre-1945 Ranger 16 gauge over/under shotgun

SOLD SOLD SOLD!

This is a Ranger (sold by Sears) 16 gauge over and under shotgun in what I would say is excellent condition. It has double triggers and a slide safety on top of the tang. It is missing one screw from the back of the trigger guard, should be an easy replacement. From what I could find out, these were made by Marlin for Sears from about 1936 on; the ones after 1945 had a Marlin label, and this one doesn't. From what I read, the forend would indicate that it's a 'later' early model, probably in the early 40's. It's a sweet shooter, I used it on barn pigeons and hit a lot more than I missed. If it doesn't sell I'm not going to shed any tears, I'll keep it and try to round up some 16 gauge ammo ;) $350 firm, gun values shows them as worth $4-550. Face to face sale only. Located in IN, about ten miles South of the MI line. Thanks for looking!

Out of the three guns I have listed here, I really hope this one doesn't sell so I can keep it. It is one sweet shooting gun, I don't need it but since when does that matter?
