If only the gun ban people could read and understand this.

The Monroe BWW's doesn't have any signs restricting pistols, I looked all over when I went in last week.

It has already been stated, but I will say it again...If you don't see the "no firearms" sign, you aren't breaking any laws by carrying there (excluding CC in PFZ's).

copy paste

BWW in Newport News

I guess I should have paid better attention to previous posts about his place. Three officers and myself got back from the gun show and decided to get some wings. When we seen the big sign on the door saying "no guns allowed" we were all shocked. On of my buddies went inside and asked for the manager and asked him about the sign. He said "it does not apply to you guys". My friend said "the hell it doesn't, I am not eating in a place that discriminates against lawful CCW holders". He then said we are going to go back to our departments and tell every officer to avoid this place. The managers jaw dropped as we walked out. He followed up to the parking lot explaining that it does not apply to officers. We all looked at him and said "it is discrimination, and we will not stand for it. We will take ours and others officers business elsewhere". We left with a big grin on our faces as he was still in the parking lot. That is their loss...We are never going back until they change policy...

This about sums it up. Any business has the right to make policy for guns on property. The consumer has the right to decide whether or not to enter premises based on said policy.

I bet this mom never thought she would have to pull a gun on someone. Good thing she was prepared.

cool story bro, you missed the point

I'll repeat, you probably should stop shitting, riding a bike, or driving a car, its more likely those things will injure or kill you long before a gun will.

Concealed means concealed.
If they see your gun you're doing it wrong.

How about this thought?: Learn some self defense. You don't have to become an uber ninja to protect yourself, all a person needs to do is learn a half dozen or so basic techniques and become proficient at them. No, you will not be able to defend yourself against a person with a gun but you will be able to inflict harm (massive if needed) to a person that is attacking without a weapon. The key here is to become proficient. That means practicing the techniques enough that they will become muscle memory. When the shit goes down you will not have to think about what technique to use, you will just respond to the situation at hand. Also, people that know how to defend themselves are more confident and that will show in your body language/posture should an aggressor be eyeing you up as a target. Criminals do not want a challenge, they want the easiest score possible so they only target what they perceive to be the weak.

I am available in Bay City if anyone wants to learn a few techiques and how to apply them, PM me if you are interested. No, I'm not charging anything, I just enjoy this crap.
