I'm genuinely surprised that you can construct grammatically correct, concise, semi-logical statements residing in Hillsdale. You must be one of the university folk. I spent way too much time in the Homer, Jonesville, Hillsdale, Spring Arbor area and honestly don't think I ever met a person there that could pull off all three. The beating your chest "GUNS!!!!!!" comes as no surprise though given the area. Well done sir!

Lol. I am not from hillsdale. Just bought a house for way under value and now live here. That does have everything to do with me views on gun ownership. How did you know moving to hillsdale changed my entire thought process? You're so smart.

Forgive me if i'm wrong but, even if its posted no firearms....so long as its not a designated pistol free zone....the most the owner can do is ask you to leave then go after you for trespassing if you do no comply.

This is what i what i was lead to believe....just wondering how accurate it is

Keep your gun with you, keep it out of sight, keep your mouth shut. Everybody is happy.

Im not upset by anymeans. Yes I guess we both assumed, I assumed if you already talked to the owner and had the answer as to why they dont want guns on their property than you would not start a thread looking to find the answer. And in return you have assumed I have some interest in the park well to fill you in, I have absolutely no interest in the park, I have never even been there.. I just dont think it is that redicoulus for a gravel pit to have a sign not allowing firearms... its not like its the local coffee shop. Its an outdoor piece of land and they are typically known to have tresspassers disharge their weapons for target practice. IT does not mean they dont support the 2nd amendment... (which I have no idea of their stand, just another assumtion)

One of my friends carried while we were in Harlan. I told him he was a little nuts when I saw him with a pistol shoved in his belt. Then we talked to the chief of police (we were staying in his rental house). He said he would recommend it. There are some scary sister fuckers back in those hills and we're all riding around in $$$$$ rigs. I could see the easy opportunity.

It may not have changed it, but I'm sure it's influenced it. 95% of the people's that were there were good peoples. The 5% were real pieces of shit though.

Yeah, well you can't always be 100% happy. There are compromises in everything you do from trying to always buy "made in USA" to not wanting to support the local offroad park who doesn't want guns onsite.

To me, boycotting BH because they don't allow guns onsite is ridiculously overkill. So while you're home, not offroading and feeling great about not supporting them, I'll be out there throwing dirt around and having a good time.
