Default Need cross country vehicle transport!!!!

I have a friend who is moving back to washington as her husband returns home from a deployment. She set everything up plane ticket on the 8th and her stock yj to be picked up by newway moving between the 2nd but no later than the 8th. Newway moving has dicked us around and took her deposit and has not picked up the jeep. Ive called and spoke to every supervisor and general manager I could. They have no idea when the jeep will be picked up and there isn't even a driver assigned to the jeep yet. I get promised a call back everyday and I dont get a call. I have multiple recordings of these calls and promises ( i know they didn't agree to it and i cant use it). They have horrible customer service and keep forwarding me to a voicemail.

So in a nut shell I need a honest and fast mover to get this army wifes jeep to washington so her and her husband have a vehicle. She's currently sitting in an empty apartment. Her husband will be home saturday or sunday. Renting a car will not work because shes 24. Jeep will be trailered there some how not driven!

I'm hoping the powers of gl4x4 will help me figure this out.

She set it up, and it was a lesson learned about doing your research on the shipper. They have terrible reviews.

What is the budget? I could do it but it would be about the price of the vehicle.

Should be less than $1500 for a shipping company though.

That's a pretty unrealistic budget to be honest. You should be looking at about $2 a mile in most cases.

This!

This is why I flew out to Seattle and drove my truck back. She should have just drove it out there vs flying and trying to ship or just sold here and bought another there.

Jeeps not lifted is it? Could possibly make it more expensive to ship.

Im looking at .50 a mile at the moment. Lots of quotes around 1050 and 1200. Just want to know if people have had good luck with any other shippers, and who they liked

Is there any law or act to protect consumers against horrible customer service, Ie 20% cancelation fee. When they are over 12 days late. The deposit gets refunded tuesday but after that the contract is still in effect and they can take as long as they want.

Give d.a.s. ( dependable auto shippers) a call a buddy of mine has done some work with them and from what I have seen they seem to be on the better end.
