I don't think most of the people on this forum even own a 4x4. Most have at some point in time. All everyone does now is tell you how wrong you are about whatever and move on. Its very entertaining.
I currently have a couple of 1st gen 4Runners, a 3rd gen 4runner and a couple of mid 90's P'ups. There are a few others on here as well. Generally don't have too many issues with them.
I have quite a collection of toys sitting around. 80 pickup exo'd on 37s and diesel, 83 2wd diesel, 89 4runner with a 160hp 22r and a 89 pickup which gets beat on every chance we get and has never(let me emphasize NEVER) stopped working. The thing with these trucks is that they rarely let you down and if they do the simplicity in diagnosing and repairing is usually easy enough that people aren't posting it up. I am currently revitalizing the 80 diesel in my garage right now but I am new to this smartphone thing and never even think of taking pictures. I will try and take some pics and try to start a build thread.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
