Wow - reports are saying the guy in the black truck 1) hit a car at outer drive (a few miles before crossing Telegraph) and 2) was going 100 mph when he hit the car that killed 2 high school kids and has the 3rd in critical condition. SO sad for these families. I can't imagine being hit by a truck at 100 mph.

he hit 2 cars, 2 seperate locations. one at outer dr and ford (flew the scene) and then another at ford and telegraph. sounds like the outer drive hit was minor - hardly made the news so I think the person is OK.

That's some crazy shit, i think we should ban all pickup trucks that can go over 80 mph, you know, for public safety and what not.

also because if you don't use certain vehicles often, they fall into disrepair, then when you need them the don't work.

This is fairly common to rotate in larger fire trucks every so often.

I know this isn't gonna be a popular thing....... But the guy driving the truck is a friend of mine. I just found out tonight. He was my tattoo artist also. Rip Darryl.

Now just so you all don't get all pissy with me I don't agree with his actions. But he was a good dude and one hell of an artist!

If that is the case would you have any idea why he would have done such actions? i mean no normal thinking person would run lights and crash into cars on purpose.

Better ban the trucks. It's the truck's fault.

I don't know why he did what he did. Heard he had suspended d/l and left the scene to avoid jail. I know he had been trying very hard to keep his kids supported. I know he has been on hard times lately and took a job doing construction since the tattoo business has been slow. Still no excuses to do what he had done. Thoughts and prayers out to all that have been affected by this.

This sounds very similar to a PI call I had 7 years ago. Guy in a truck Hit a car (sides swiped) went in a ditch and hit a tree. Backed up, as he was pulling out of the ditch hit another car, bounced off, kept driving for a few miles, blew a stop sign, and hit a old brick water treatment plant and died instantly. It was determined that the underlying cause was he was a diabetic, he sugar dropped and he became disoriented/confused. He lived in Grand Rapids, worked in Allendale, and his final crash site was 500 yards from Lake Michigan. It is thought that he simply turned the wrong way out of the drive way at work and headed west instead of east.

your friend was a fucking cock sucker, so not only are his kids without a dad, think of the other families that have lost all because he didn't want to go to jail...what a fucking asshole, in the end he got what he deserved, the others didn't

I agree with you! Don't think that I was trying to defend him. Up until this he was a decent guy. If he had lived and the others died I don't believe I would still be his friend. I feel for all the victims.
