Thumbs down CSE Offroad

I ordered USA Alloy axle shafts from them on Dec. 7th. I still don't have my parts. I sent them an email yesterday asking if I could have a tracking number for my parts. They sent me a tracking number for UPS. I went on to the UPS tracking and my tracking number did not work. I sent CSE Offroad an email back telling them that my tracking number didn't work and if they had any idea why. They said it should work, but they would call UPS and find out. So about 30 minutes later, I tried it again and it finally worked. What I found out was, they just created my shipping label. Now, in the order confirmation email I got, I was watching the order status. It had said "will ship in 2-3 days" for 12 days after I purchased my order. After I contacted CSE, they sent me a new email with the order status link in it, and when I clicked it, it finally was changed to "shipped". UPS ground shipping time, from New York (where CSE is located), is 2 days.

So from what I gather, they did not ship my parts UNTIL after I sent them an email yesterday morning, the 19th. They said I should expect to have my parts tomorrow, Friday the 21st. I ordered my shafts on the 7th so I would have them to install on the 21st, so I needed them by the 20th.

It took them 12 days to finally ship my parts. They were not helpful in their emails. They have lost my business. They have not provided me with good customer service. I thought I would let you all know in case any of you buy parts online. I would avoid this company. End rant.

Good thing you followed up with them. That's disappointing to hear that so many businesses are doing that lately. Hopefully you get your package tomorrow as they are saying.

It is disappointing. I told them that they need to make this right and overnight my parts so I will have them today. They said I should expect them on Friday the 21st. So They have lost me as a customer.

I will now be supporting all businesses on here such as Ironman. I have heard great things about him and his service. I guess paying a little more for parts is worth the good customer service.

I agree with Whiterhino. I've played the chase best price game in the past and wasted more time than money saved.

Exactly. Sometimes you get lucky, but you get screwed more times than not. Support local business! Dale at Ironman is great, I've also had good luck with Kevin at Jeeperz Creeperz. Would highly recommend either.

I am going to second Kevin at Jeeperz. I get most of my orders the next day from him. Great shop.

I never ordered from Dale, but from what I have read on here, I would not hesitate to do business with him.

I have been dealing with rocksolid performance and I'm very happy with them. Ironman is another solid choice for parts. I think you would be very happy with either.

Some internet sites do not have any stock. They just order from other companys and sell for less because they have no overhead.

If no 800 # or storefront beware of doing business with them!
