And the USPS wonders why...

people are using them less and less. I have all my Christmas presents except one package. FedEx, UPS... all got here within a few days. It has now been almost two weeks for 'priority shipping' and the last 9 scans over the past 3 days have all been 'in transit' over in Allen Park. Sons a' bitches, Bumpasses!

Monday they were too lazy to walk up to my front door. They crammed all my packages in my mailbox then folded my CD that was in an envelope in half so it would fit in the rounded top portion of the mailbox.

USPS is always at least a day later than the expected delivery date when I get things shipped.

I did 1100 packages In the past year with USPS. They only lost one and were almost never late, except for my mother's birthday present. That took six days to go to Gaylord. They routed it from Allan park to Chicago to Grand Rapids to traverse City then to Gaylord.

X3 I only use Fedex for the big stuff. USPS is always cheaper for smaller and lighter things.

I dropped using USPS completely.

If I ship a package from auburn hills to LA with fedex, every single time it will take four days. If I ship a package from auburn hills to LA with USPS, it might take 4-5-6-7-8-9 days.

They have lost packages I've sent out. A whole set of control arms went missing once. USPS suck it!

Add me to the list of folks who have never had problems with USPS - coming or going. They are always my first choice for shipper when I am sending something out.

I ordered a new motor for my clothes drier online on Friday at 3pm from a store in Boulder Colorado, it shipped USPS priority, it was waiting on my porch when I got home from work on Monday. I'd say half way across the country in a day is pretty good for the post office. Fedex on the other hand can choke on a dick and die.

3 of our X-Mas card this year had slits in the side of them, enough you could see inside, but not so much that the card would fall out.
These 3 were all the thicker cards, with moving parts, someone must have thought the thicker part was money or lotto tickets or something.

Just checked my fedex insight panel, 3137 packages shipped since January 1st, and I don't recall a single issue or a lost package

we only send out certified mail, return receipt requested because the courts seemingly won't accept a proof of service.

our local letter carrier is good enough to us for the rare mail we do get, but the UPS truck and fed ex ground are at our house at least once a week if not more due to my wife's in-home part time business.
