Its a Canton relocation block. Has two 3/4 NPT fittings out the side. Worked perfect in my B2 with the stock 2.9 mounts and 5.0 adapter plates at block but these Duff 5.0 swap mounts must not put motor in same spot.

Been workin alot of hours and kinda slowed down lately but I have a 11 day vacation coming up at x-mas and hope to have it rolling by New Years.

Picked up a 4x10 sheet of aluminum for my bed skins, after a rediculous wait from Ballistic I have my upper coilover mounts, spacers, bolts and tracbar mount. Got some new lights and finished my dash. The GPS speedo is sweet!

Going to raise and move motor back a little bit also to make the room I need for oil relocation block clearance and to get a better driveline angle.

No pix today but starting monday progress will be fast...

Couple yrs ago when I was working on swapping my 5.8L into my b2/ranger truggy, I looked into the duff mounts and back then they were just mustang convertible motor mounts. One side fit in the stock 2.9L hole and the other needed to be redrilled a couple inches away from the oe hole.

What you doing for the doubler shaft?

Like I said it was a couple yrs ago when I looked at what they were selling, probably found something better between now and then.

I didn't see those mounts when I looked the other day , I ordered something different from them. I might order those up anyways.

well now that the holiday BS is over I can get back after this thing...

Got my radius arms and more front end parts{still waiting for inserts}
1.25 Hiems, brackets, bolts, jams. The stock arms were put in a lathe and the small end was turned down to 1.5" all the way up to where they widen. The tubing is 2" .250 wall chromoly and its all tig welded and when finished they were normalized for strength. These were the 2nd try since the first time around the 2" DOM warped when they went in for the heat treating.

Truck now has a smooth belly.Made some 1" spacers for the motor mounts and that worked perfectly so the oil filter relocation block clears the steeringbox and I was able to get the t-case tucked up above the bottom of the frame rail. Made a new crossmember as well.

Bolted up some front recovery hooks.

I started cleaning up the d44 and got the lower coilover mounts finished.

Goin back out in a few to roll axle back under and bolt up arms and start figuring out the frame brackets...

Question....

Axle is back under the truck, wheels on,arms on using 7 bushings, truck is sitting at ride heigth.

What caster angle should I shoot for at ride heigth?

Tomorrow Im tacking hoops and upper mounts on and with any luck it will sit without stands for the first time. Looks like the coilovers will be leaned backwards 5 and toward motor 10.

That sound good? Any advice or tips before I get started?

Well I got the flu over my vacation like I have never had before so basicly nothing got done on truck until this past weekend.

Turns out the lower coilover mounts wont work. The caster angle was to much for the lower misalignment bushings in the coilovers and they would of had to be mounted leaning back almost 15 to stop them from binding. So I built my own lower mount that uses the top two wedge bolts and one of the coil spring pad bolt holes. Coilovers can now sit at 5 rear and 5 in.

Then I made 4 stands to weld to the frame for the hoops to sit on.

After a whole day of mocking the coilovers up getting the right angles I welded up the hoops.

Just need to make the crossover bar and weld up the radius arm mounts at the frame and looks like she ready for coils.
