I have bought my son many of the brunder construction toys. He loves them but there are a couple things to watch out for.

1. the plastic is strong but if left out in the sun it will become brittle and break so keep it out of the sun for long periods.

2. the big excavator is awesome but the tracks will stretch and the arm can break at the mounting point. easy fix on the tracks you can take a link out and for the arm they sell the hole arm Assembly for cheap.

Most of there toys are pretty solid minus the small parts like mirrors etc. and most have some replacement parts. sure beats the junk they sell at ( toy r us ) Fast Lane are there brand and they are complete junk

bought the mog plow truck and concrete truck for my son. only 19 months so replacement parts will be nice cuz im sure i'll break them before he can really appreciate them.

Looked at some of the newer tonka stuff and it looks like they are uping there game a bit from what I had as a boy. and way uping from what ive seen in the past few years

These look pretty cool. My daughter would probably enjoy some of these too - I could see her loading all her My Little Ponies into a dump truck or pushing them around with a bulldozer.

Just curious where you guys are finding the best prices?

Family Farm & Home has a bunch of the tractors, excavators and cranes in stock reasonable in case anyone else wants these for Christmas, no jeeps though.
